The point I want to make is this: considering the enormous range of styles and sizes of stands for minerals, fossils, etc., little or no mention is made of using these stands to display specimen seashells. Depending on the shell (and Im talking rare, expensive specimen shells), 3- or 4-peg, or other styles (check the website) will show off your shells beautifully. Best of all, the 3- and 4-peg styles can be ordered with vinyl caps, which are necessary to hold the fragile shell securely in place. If youre a conchologist, you need to check out this website.
