The 2oz Tudor Beasts collection by the Royal Mint has a serious flaw. The first coin, the 2oz Seymore Panther only comes in a 40mm proof version while all the other Beasties are minted as 2oz 38.6mm sizes. So when you buy the Lighthouse Tudor Beast display case, simply won’t fit. No way, no way around it…unless you buy this capsule. It’s still a tight fit to push it into the display case but it’s possible. You can then display all 10 Tudors in the same case! Problem solved. Shame on the Royal Mint for such poor planning.

Didn't work for Privateer Series but good quality capsule.

I bought this to see if I could use it for my Privateer Series White Whale coin because the alternative case has a white ring and NOPE this one does not fit. That said, it is a pretty sturdy capsule and I'm sure I will find some use for it.

Fits for 2 oz Great Barrier Reef Turtle

I bought these direct fit cases as a solution for my 2 oz Perth Mint Great Barrier Reef Sea Turtle coin. The coins fit well without any forcing and the presentation is excellent. Highly recommend the case and OFG!
