These 3 Peg Display Stands are injection molded from clear acrylic plastic. Stands will have a mark on the side with the single front leg, as this is the result from when they break away from the mold. There are indentations on the bottom of the two back legs which may look like an air pocket. This is just how the mold is made and unavoidable.

Choose the option of Stands Only or the Stands with our Vinyl Guard covers for you to place of the top of each peg. We have found these covers/guards a great way to prevent your item from slipping and scratching on the stands. The guards were also designed to keep your displayed item more stable.

Mineral Geode Fossil Display Stands, 2.5" Acrylic Three-Peg Holders

Perfect size!

My collection of tropical western Pacific cone shell contains many small specimens, which are often the most brightly colored and ornately patterned (<2 cm). These are the perfect size, and the caps hold the shells so that there’s less chance that bumping the displays will cause an accident.

Perfect!

I collect Tropical Pacific cone shells. The smaller specimens (<3 cm) are usually the most colorful. These stands are just what I need to display the best of my collection.

One size does not fit all . . .

. . . and that’s why OnFireGuy offers so many different sized and styles. While my 3/4” 3-peg model was too big for my needs, Lauren helped me get the right sizes and facilitated a return. Hat's off to you folks for a great product and superior customer service.

Mineral Geode Fossil Display Stands, 4.25" Acrylic Three Peg Holders

Perfect Display Stand...

I've bought three of these now, and they're exactly what I wanted and at a great price! They look nice and they're very sturdy - which is important for the heavy mineral specimens I'm using them for!

2.5 acrylic 3-peg holder (also 2.0 3-peg & 4-peg stands) ...

Similar holders can be found in rock shops, museum stores and, yes, on Amazon. The point I want to make is this: considering the enormous range of styles and sizes of stands for minerals, fossils, etc., little or no mention is made of using these stands to display specimen seashells. Depending on the shell (and Im talking rare, expensive specimen shells), 3- or 4-peg, or other styles (check the website) will show off your shells beautifully. Best of all, the 3- and 4-peg styles can be ordered with vinyl caps, which are necessary to hold the fragile shell securely in place. If youre a conchologist, you need to check out this website.
